First off, I need to take a real vacation, no more of these one and two day out of town trips where I fly somewhere and then immediately fly back almost the next day. This last "vacation" was only about 50 hours long, including travel. Anyway, I almost never take the airport shuttle. I have a bum leg, and after sitting on a flight for two hours, I need to move it, otherwise it gets cranky and hurts even more... so today after waiting too long to collect my baggage, I began my trek across lot after lot of parked cars on my way to my own vehicle. About a hundred feet from my truck, I neglected to notice a curb.... you can guess what happened. Anyway, to make the situation worse, at the time of this trippage, had both of my bags on one shoulder as I had just shifted arms. I was coming back with a lot more stuff than I had taken since I went yesterday to take stuff out of my grandfather's house with my mother. I got several vintage books, some glass pieces and some silver, so lets just say, my duffel was rather heavy. With the momentum I had, and the weight on my back, I took a nice stumbling twisting tumble on the parking lot asphalt.
I'm now strangely sore in places I didn't think were possible. Standing is uncomfortable. I'm going to go lay down.
By the way, thanks everyone who modded my niece, she's a cute one.
. Oh well, I'll keep them shorter in the future if I do do them again.
