these mornings are kiling me!
6:30am starts are taking their toll....i've started to drink the office instant coffee in the morning just to keep my eyes open. no doubt my tiredness is most likely due to my lack of fitness....but...effort, y'know? once my geisha tattoo heals i PROMISE i'll be more active. i'll even buy a kinect tv mount so i can play Fitness Evolved! not much to report on. 1.5 more months and we should have the internets which will be nice. THEN i can post photos of our house...once i get around to taking them. we got a price for the retaining walls that we'll need to have around our house (curse you uneven land!)...$13,602.00. well FUCK. suffice to say we're not impressed, but it's not like we have a choice...we can't do anything unless the land is level, and at the end of the day it'll be worth it. i just can't wait to plant my lime trees and herb garden. if we'd known in advance that we were gonna have to spend that much we would have tried to include it in the home loan. we can't do it now because we don't have any equity yet, the house value "hasn't increased in the eyes of the bank" and we'll be borrowing more than 85% of the current value. that means we'll need mortgage insurance and it will end up costing us $5000 extra...so we're gonna suck it up and live on rice for a while. oh well...money is made for spending, right? of course we have to add the cost of the fence ontop of that....so that's like...another $3,500. who knew owning a house would be so damn expensive? how are all of you my lovelies? i'm so slack at this thing. everytime i post i say that i'll post more often...and then i don't. trying to work on that, no, really, i am. now, off to ebay for a cheap cheap kinect tv mount. woo. <3 |
