Well, I haven't been on in a while. Many reasons. I was gonna write about them, but then I thought, "how many sad-sack journals you gonna write?"

Guess I can't shake that 90s-melancholy attitude, even in my 30s . . .

So, I figure I should just suck it up. You know, get back to being semi-humorous. I know all you zero watchers out there are clamorin' for more of this Polllack's writings.

But I digress. Long story short, I've finally met a woman I don't want to strangle. Been together for a year now. Lookin' like she may be the one. In terms of interests, we have nothing in comm...

But I digress. Long story short, I've finally met a woman I don't want to strangle. Been together for a year now. Lookin' like she may be the one. In terms of interests, we have nothing in common, which is kinda weird, but we seem to be really compatible. Probably won't be long before I pop the question. I don't know what it is about her, but she seems to be the perfect amount of crazy for me.

Still managin' the movie theatre. Still like my job for the most part, though the past few months have been rough. Doin' well though, and the bosses are happy and good to me.

By the end of the month, will be completely debt free. No college loans, no car payments, no credit card debt. AWESOME.

Finished the main story and most of the side quests in Arkham City. For as much complainin' as I do about not having time for anything, I seem to have found time to fit that in. Great game, having fun with it, but getting to the point in the game when I'm gonna have to do all the hard stuff I've been putting off. Wish I was more competitive, I'll probably just put the game down. Haven't even touched the challenges yet.

I miss Batman:TAS.

Movies lately have sucked. Nothing in the past few months has peaked my interest enough to see on my day off. My girlfriend's 4-year-old, Anna, is the only reason I go anymore, so I'll probably see Beauty & the Beast in 3D. Out of nostalgia I'm sure I'll be going to see Star Wars Episode I in 3D, even though I EXTREMELY disliked Episodes I-III. Haven't gotten to see Tin-Tin yet; I'm an Edgar Wright fan, what can I say.

The 1st half of the year always sucks for movies. If a studio puts a movie out in January other than an Oscar contender, they have no confidence in it. Same with September.

What else? I've stalled on my Dr. Who "goal." Decided to start with the first Doctor, William Hartnell. Making for a rough ride, but I've found the charm in the good Doctor's beginnings.

Um, chocolate lab puppies suck.

Have to get my old man to help me install some ceiling fans in some bedrooms, then I can re-insulate attic.
