Halo Movie or Halo 3?
Turns out that Halo the Movie is being postponed for an undetermined length of time. Apparently, Fox and Universal pulled out due to the fact that the original budget of $135 million was replaced with projections of the movie costing in excess of $200 million. While the movie project is still regarded as pre-production, since all of maybe two people are trying to figure out how to make it more affordable, I can't help but see how this will be for the better.

Honestly, think about it, Halo 3 comes out this summer. I'm expecting the release date to get pushed back a few times like with Halo 2. That could put Halo 3's release date somewhere in the vicinity of Spring or Summer of '08, God-forbid. However, if Halo 3 followed the trends of Halo 2 in terms of release, and Halo: The Movie were to come out on schedule, we'd be having gamers facing a God Damn Greek Tragedy: Buy Halo 3, or Buy a ticket for Halo: The Movie.

These two products would be competing for our cash at the same time, thus cutting into eachother's profit margins. By postponing Halo: The Movie, we can rest assured that we won't be scrambling for pennies and nickels to pay our way into the theatre.

I love money... I'd like to keep it... until a new Halo comes out... Damnit, I forgot about Halo Wars.

Also, Shame on those of you who'd record the Movie and put it on the Internet... Shame.
