23 year-old male from Cudahy, WI
19 for now. Love hanging out with my friends. Two of them are leaving for Iraq until 2010. The other members are wrapped up in school like me. Work constantly. About 50+ hourrs a week. Airsoft is a good thing. Football rocks my socks. I made a killer Wide Receiver back in the day when I was more active. Stay in shape, but not the most fit. Super Bowl XLII afterthoughts
Well, I can't say I'm the most jacked up about watching Green Bay lose to New York, yet at the same time I couldn't shake the urge to jump for joy as the final seconds ticked the Pats perfect run to a screeching halt. I'm a huge football guy, I played it for years on the streets, and its great to watch some highlight reels on ESPN that don't belong to NE. I believe that NY started 0-2(2nd loss coming from us :P), only to respond with 10 straight road game wins. They can't win a game at home to save their lives, but take them somewhere else, and theyre demons. Not even like powerhouse, run up the score demons either, just smashmouth, raunchy defense, and scoring when it counts. NE had set an NFL record for points scored in the regular season, but managed 2 touchdowns in this game.
Why? NY whipped pretty boy Tom Brady, punched him in the mouth time and time again. NY hit NE and they never really got back up. The score doesnt really indicate how far away those teams playing level was. Although undefeated prior to it, NE clearly was the punching bag in that game. No doubt. And Bill Bellichek(however thats spelled), doesnt even wait until time runs out to walk off the field, he just goes at :02 since he failed on 4th down.
All in all, happy as hell the Giants walked away saying SB champs, and in the words of Antonio Peirce: "They invited us to their dinner celebration after the game, they can bring themselves and sulk, we'll bring the trophy."
