Oops
I totally missed my 7 year journal. I tell ya, last year when I made my 6 year I thought I was at the peak of my experience here on RT. And then last year I went to this little thing called RTX and made even more awesome friends. Coming back from that I was in the "meet new people" mindset and had a stern talking to from Jon that I needed to stick with the Sports Bar, so I did and am very glad of the people I've met at both places. To all my amazing old friends, Cory, Angela, Willow, Dodds, Rune, Tetra, Evan*, Luis*, Ron, Ben, Jeremy (Tamari), Randy, Andrew, Nat, Jeremy (Monolopy_J), Cas, Suppi, Erin (Jabberwocky), Erin (FushigiHime), and Fizz (I'm sure I probably missed some old ones) and to you that are no longer a part of this site, I love you guys. Without some, if not all, of you I would have never stuck around and made it this far. Also, I'm sorry that I'm not as active as I used to be in the forums. Being a father of 2, having a daytime job, and being more dedicated to Rooster Speak has made my presence in the old threads and your alerts very sparse. Although the alerts I blame on the new site design... And to my newer friends that I've either just met or gotten to know really well over the last year or so, Brandon, Julia, Steven, Barb, Chris (DiMono), John, Jon, Linh, Lammy, Paul, Tiff, Finch, Fernando, Matt, Clem, Jenna, Ainsley, Amanda, Vicky, Vicki, Greg, Caiti, Saun, Soxy, Sola, Marfa, Bey, Caleb, James, Mary, Chris (sirNARVY), Zach, Kiyoshi, Spam (need to change your name to Ale8Man...), and others that I'm sure I've left out from Rooster Speak or Movie Watchers. You guys have absolutely solidified my reason for staying around for so long. It's the highlight of my day when I'm finally able to log on and shoot some B.S. across the series of tubes we like to call "The Internet." This will either be a promise or a threat, depending on who you are, I will not go away from here. Yes, I'm sure I'll be taking breaks here and there, but I've made too many life-friends on here to just go away. So, suck it up, assholes. I ain't goin nowhere!  Dopp |
