Studies show that 'boredom kills'
Over the past few months I had a revelation based on the fact that my life is rotting in a cubicle being a technical brain for a bunch of parts monkeys (sorry if you're a real field hardware tech and happen to be skimming this) so I'm crawling out of my yes-person augmented reality day-cell for something a little more interesting. I'm in school again taking 16 semester hours/working full time and I've flushed 3.5 years of Business school down the proverbial toilet, but that's okay. I'm majoring in Pre-Professional Medicine @ University of Central OK on a fast track acceptance program for OSU's college of Osteopathic Medicine. That's right. I'm going to be a Doctor. Specifically a research Dr. And I have 3 years to cram minors in bio/mechanical engineering as well as a second major in political science. While I'm in DO school I'm adding an MBA that has nothing to do wth any prior credits earned and I'm going to try for a dual P.h.D. in both Osteo Medicine and Poly Sci. so yeah. That's my 10 year plan in a nutshell. Oh I almost forgot... something about robotics. Yeah. It can be done.[img] |
