One year on...
Haven't done a journal for a while, but this seems like an appropriate time to start again. Currently we're on holiday in Ireland celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary by going to the Irish discworld convention (and stopping at a few places in Ireland on the way). Apparently halloween is a national holiday here so we've both brought costumes for tomorrow, which gives me another chance to wear the armour. This year I've put together an executioner's costume, I'll try to get a photo or two tomorrow. I've been working really hard recently, which is good in that I still have a job and the company is doing well, but means we've not had as much time together lately. Since the wedding we've had the addition of Greg (who was best man) to our household which has meant a lot more online gaming.... Lord of the Rings Online mainly. Anyway, we've got a posh dinner booked as a treat so I'd better go dust off my suit and try to look a bit less scruffy for a couple of hours. Hope everyone else is ok! |
