I will never live without wanting to understand music more and more. It pains me when I hear people say music is their life, even though they only listen to one or two generations of it. Music will outlast us, and it will survive all the horrible nights we can imagine. It is a science, as well as an art. This is something I truly believe in.
I am a percussion major at West Texas A&M University.
My mind is far more complex than you can guess, but I challenge you to take a look at it and see what you can come up with.

Today, the musician I recommend is possibly my favorite techno artist ever, Eiffel 65.
Not just because I was listening to their song Blue when I was a kid. But because the guy can actually sing. And he can write some pretty cool songs.
The words aren't just pointless either, like most techno.
And of course, it's fun to dance to :P

Music Annoyingly enough RvB does not allow unlimited space for things like this. I only got through the M's of my music library before I ran out of space. I am keen to many different types of music. I like folk music. Classical romantic and baroque periods are excellent examples of beautiful music. Medieval music is also truly remarkable. I love piano music due to it's high level of expression and emotion. Marimba music however is far more complicated and is also slightly more captivating. I seriously suggest Mark Ford She-e Wu or Leigh Howard Stevens all great marimbists. I am also a metalhead. August Burns Red Keep of Kalessin Children of Bodoms Soilwork In Flames and Raintime are a few bands I recommend. Chances are if you listen to something I do also. Simply ask me about some music you like and we'll talk about it! And if I haven';t listened to it I would be honored to listen to music that speaks or sings to you. :)
