Ok, you can say I am a nerdy chick. I like to read, a lot. Thus my profession. Ha ha. Also, I like a lot of geeky things such as some anime, comic books, mangas, and some video gaming. Also I'm married to Hawkins1701, so if you mess with him, you're in for a world of pain. *cracks knuckles* Also, I don't take random friend requests. So, if you send me a request, you gotta add a note stating who you are and why you want to add me to your friend's list.
So Tired
After a long 2 days, I'm surprised to see that I'm still awake and alive at work right now. The cat had to have some dental cleaning done yesterday and after a long Sunday night/Monday morning of her crying for food, she then proceeded to moan and bitch at us about how pissed she was for making her go. Why else would a cat bypass food and continue to follow you about the house meowing with great disdain? To top it off, some jackass or asses keep sending English Second Language students to me to interpret what they're saying and to tell them what to do next. I can't even speak Spanish and I took 3 years of it in high school. I know some Japanese, but all the students being sent to me speak are not Japanese speakers. This type of work is really the Language Departments job and I have a sneaky suspicion that everyone over there doesn't want to do their jobs, but still get paid. How typical of the over privileged Californian college professors. The particular students that have been sent to me are the worst to deal with to. For example: I just got done spending 30 minutes trying to help this woman and even making some progress using Google Translate, but finally she got mad and yelled t "You no help me! You racist!" I wish to God I can use brute force in my job because I would have smacked her in the face with the biggest dictionary at my desk. I'm going to find the person or persons responsible for sending these students to me and destroy them. Not sure how I'm going to do it, but they will regret passing ESL students to me. So yeah, that's my rant. Sorry if it made some of you mad, but if you were in my shoes, you'd be pissed to. Have a good one everybody |
