Update Alright... I decided yesterday that I didn't need any fingers on my right hand and it would be a good idea to chop them off. Well, it didn't work according to plan. My pinky finger decided to take one for the team and "jump on the grenade", so to speak. I cut my pinky finger down to the bone. Doing what, you ask? Why, fixing an external hard drive, of course. What else?
The Hard Drive casing had a factory seal on it. It was glued. So I borrowed my friend, Sgt. Ferraro's knife. Well, about the time he was saying, "Oh, by the way, the blade doesn't lock out..." , I pressed even harder and SNAP. It closed. It was pretty cool, I'm not going to lie to you. Until, of course, it decided to spray blood all over the table, including the hard drive, my laptop, and miscellaneous items gathered there at that time. So, as I'm gushing blood, I calmly walk down the corridors of the ship to get to medical with Marines passing out all around me. Well, maybe not passing out... Cringing is the appropriate word I believe. So ya... Everybody feel free to call me a dumbass and laugh at the Marine who stabbed himself. It's okay... I'm used to it...
Well, laters ya'll,
Steve
