Next week it happens...

Finally after about 7 years with our current internet provider (also know as sky broadband) which had a whopping... wait for it 10 mbs speed but according to them the phone line we have only actually allows at anytime a maximum of 3 of that, so i apoligise for the years of crap internet when we've played grifball or anything else with anyone on halo 3, odst, reach, L4D 1/2, Call of Duty's, etc.

Now, as of the 21st of may ( so next saturday) we're swapping to virgin phone & internet, which is a 30 mbs connection & the phone line allows us to use 29.something of that.

So as of next weekend we'll be able to game happily with out lag & may actually stand a chance against the americans in matchmaking

It saysat the top of that page that those are the Grifball Spring League 2010 rules, american grifball.
The rule number one that you must have agreed to (or else you would not have signed up) when you signed up for the league states:

1. All participating teams must consist of at least 4 starting players and may include 4 alternates. Once you have signed up and the bracket is released there will be no changing.

Each team has a roster of up to eight players, including one Team Captain. Each match, the Captain will choose four players from the roster to play in the game. Captains may add or remove players from the Team roster until that player has played in a match for that team. Once a player plays in an official match for a team, that player is on that team permanently through the end of the season. Players may only appear on the roster of one team. Players may only play in one league per season. All players must be registered on Grifball.com in order to play in the League. Guests may play in the league, and they are counted as one of the eight allowable players. Players on the same team may play on the same screen.

There's some paid for programs that can do it for you, however the cheapest way is to have everyone on the Skype call install Audacity and record their own audio. The problem is that all those audio files need to be edited together, so I wouldn't recommend that for more than two people.
