Break #32: Top Ten These are the top ten shows I can't re-watch or finish anime wise.
1. Zoids Century Zero - I do remember watching all of this show. However, when doing a re-watch in order from Chaotic Century, I couldn't stand the kid like aspect. While the first two seasons were a bit more adult, Century Zero failed to be completely serious most of the time. It also is the series that made have a Liger Zero the norm for the next season.
2. Zoids Fuzors - Everytime this season showed, it stopped at the Alpha Zoid appearing. Then it would start all the way from the beginning. Maybe the premise just really bugged me. Especially when most of the characters seemed kind of forgettable.
3. .hack//ROOTS...

3. .hack//ROOTS - I swear this show wanted to pull of SIGN and failed. I can re-watch SIGN quite a few times and find something new every time. ROOTS had huge pacing issues, especially when some episodes had absolutely nothing of interest going on. After having what seemed to be an okay stopping point, it just kept going. I can only go a few episodes after the Shino incident before I have to stop.
4. Madoka Magica - Like I've probably repeated many times, this show has a lot of issues. The concept is good, but it never executes it right. Character development is shoddy at best, and the main character spends eleven or so episodes moping before deciding to be a Magical Girl. Music is rarely used, often using the same tracks. Yes, and Gen Urobochi.
5. Gundam SEED Destiny - Have you ever heard of remaking the entire plot of your previous season to the point it feels like a remake? Apparently Bandai thought it was a great idea. After the first three or so episodes, my mind got more annoyed at the new characters attempting to be Kira and Athrun.
6. SD Gundam - I watched this twice when it was on Toonami. Probably because I was bored beyond belief at times. However, this show only had one thing I really liked: Zaku Zaku hour. The last five or so minutes was the Zaku Zaku's having jabs at the show. I enjoyed it, but could care less about the Captain with a Haro head and the child friendly gundam plot. Oh, by the way, they made a sequel.
7. Night Wizard - I can re-watch parts of this series. The problem was that the story is very basic. Once you understand the story, parts are really only necessary. That and many of the villain characters are kind of sparsely explained.
8. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi - The creators of Junjou Romantica made a new series. The problem is that while the concept remains the same, it was executed far too differently. The three couples had less pacing and one of the couples pretty much got two or three good episodes to feature the whole process.
9. Sacred Seven - The show had a lot of issues. One of them being pacing and the character development. Many of the aspects were far too predictable while the main character was more bland than his rival. That and somehow they had a merge of Sebastian and Claude from Black Butler with an army of maids.
10. Gunslinger Girl - I can read the manga, but I just can't stand the anime that well. I've tried and it really is far too lacking story wise. Some say the manga is more boring, but I feel that despite the lack of characterizati
on on Elsa, the manga was a lot better.
