The new project
We made a lot of progress. A lot of footage for three different episodes were taken by us, and most of the audio for the first two and all of the audio for the third will be recorded Saturday. So far, it is shaping up extremely well. When I had this idea, I was prepared to be disappointed. Lucky for me (and extensively Toll Evaders), the format chosen for the project allows terrible actors (us) pull it off with quite a bit of success (especially Strehlow, I think he is photogenic). Hopefully our audio doesn't suck, but I will be sure to push all actors quite hard. Episode 1 centers around the group trying to get out of the mid-summer slump. It's quite self-referential at some parts, and Strehlow does something hilarious. Episode 2 is meant to be somewhat of a soapbox tale, warning about the dangers of getting in with the wrong crowd. Strehlow does something hilarious in this episode, but so does Roskar. Episode 3 revolves around me entirely. It started as a "Wacky Misunderstanding" idea, and spun out of control from there. Episode 3 should be finished first, as we didn't write in Ross (potatoes). This was because he is on vacation for a while. It also has the most adult themes, so he will be pissed when he comes back. I am writing this journal because, as of right now, there is nothing I can do to work on it. Nothing. I worked at Gamestop last Wednesday. Learned the basics, and saw that it should allow for little stress (unlike Subway). Also, I didn't tell them that I worked at Subway, so shhhhh!!! |
