that really blows. ive been fine though. found myself a mate. shes a white tiger from australia but ill make it work. other then that ive been hanging out and not on here.....its kinda dead. but ill be leaving for basic in a week or so....

Heheh, it's okay. I always seem to assume that characters in comics have American accents for some reason, made that mistake with the web comic "Sequential Art" and then realised that they were using words like "mate" and "quid" and then I found out that the artist is English.

We were talking about the rarity of British furries, I think, and I was saying how I met Fergus/FoxBoyPrower.

I know what you mean about those cons though. Went to a Liverpool meet the other week & it was awful. I only started to enjoy myself when me, my boyfriend & our friend went off on our own & we went to a bar together. Then it got fun.

Ah, that's a shame. At least you went and did something fun afterwards though.

But seriously, I've just been on holiday for 2 weeks & I don't come on here much anyway which is why I'm late replying. Not blanking you or anything. Had so much going on lately :(

I figured as much, don't worry about it. and I know the feeling, real life gets in the way a lot

I hope things settle down for you. Unless you like life being busy, that is, in which case I hope it stays at an enjoyable level of bussyness but not too much to handle.

I was just surprised since anyone I've ever mentioned "furries" to in real life either draws a blank or thinks it's weird, usually both.

I didn't know we even had fur conventions at all in the UK. It's hard enough finding comicbook & sci fi conventions here.

Sorry, saw you on FoxboyPrower's friends list, noticed you were Liverpudlian, couldn't resist the colloquialism. Actually the reason I was looking at Fergus's friends was to see how many of them were anthro-enthusiasts, surprised me a bit to find one from England.
