Zombie
The drawing of the zombie I have been working on for the last few days is really taking a long time, but I'm enjoying it and looking forward to the end project. To be honest, I have never spent more than like 6-7 hours on a drawing before today, and now, I have spent over a day of drawing time on it. I have had the patients to do it, which I never would have before. I think (and hope) that this means I can go forward with my drawing from here on out rather than stand on the same pedestal. Heres the drawing so far, step by step, and I still have a LOT more to do. I did this out of boredom one day, took me 4 hours up to this bit. It was never meant to go beyond this point.  Here, I decided to continue the drawing. I thought I could turn it into something If I really spent the time on the rest of it like I did one the eyes. To do this bit I would have spent about 6 hours  Here, I spent 9 hours adding to it. I also adjusted the levels and used the burn tool here and there to bring more dept to the whole thing, as it seemed a bit too flat.  Right now, I am still working on bringing more dept to it and also adding highlights here and there to take away from the very dry tone it has and to hopefully, fully establish the light source I'm going for in the drawing. generic-artsist.deviantart.com/ Stay tuned. |
