Spring Semester EndAs you could probably parse from the title, the spring semester has come to a close -- a good two weeks ago actually. I walked off with 5 As and a C (hardest class), and I'm at 70 credits to end my sophomore year. For all you mathematicians out there, you should have 60 by the end of your sophomore year, as 120 is needed to graduate. Spring Semester End
As you could probably parse from the title, the spring semester has come to a close -- a good two weeks ago actually. I walked off with 5 As and a C (hardest class), and I'm at 70 credits to end my sophomore year. For all you mathematicians out there, you should have 60 by the end of your sophomore year, as 120 is needed to graduate. So for students starting up again in the fall, they'll need 60 to be considered a junior.
Thanks to my second round of summer classes (and work), I'll net 12 more before fall starts -- meaning I'll walk into my junior year with 82 credits (22 credits above my junior, as they say).
So that's academics. On to something less...dull.
Work, Games, The Two are UniformAs some of you know, I don't make videos for Machinima much anymore, instead acting as a staff writer/editori
al guru for Machinima through Inside Gaming. Since this will be the first summer with which I'm employed by them, I'll be at E3 in two weeks.
Jinkees dude,
jinkees.
This is something I can't even begin to express excitement about. While work will most certainly be in abundance, this is an opportunity I've waited years, years ,years for. I've streamed each press conference each year since livestreaming was...well, made a thing.
Not only am I in attendance, I'll be checking out games, new hardware (like the Wii U) and attending a press conference or two. I think I'm going to Nintendo? Not sure though just yet.
Anyway, so I'm doing that, that's rad. I'm also working everyday as usual amongst summer classes.
Turning 20 (May 17)
Let me start off by thanking everyone on Facebook and Twitter for the insane amount of birthday wishes. Not just the standard, robotic posts on Facebook (though many were extremely thoughtful), but the really expressive best wishes you guys gave me via the site. After picking my sister up from her college in TN (20 hours round trip), I was flabbergasted at the number of comments and journals about my Birthday!
For those of you that posted birthday journals:
Cool Caiti,
Newbs,
Nirial -- unbelievable thanks from the bottom of my heart.
I'm going to avoid sounding sappy, but coming from someone who hasn't really celebrated his birthday in a good five years -- well it simply made me feel dang special seeing those journals. I can't wait to see you guys again.
Well, I must end this before I continue pounding the keys on my keyboard into the night -- I've got some studying to do. Thanks for reading guys, but before you go...here's something I haven't done in some time...your little slice of the Internet.

Later folks.
Edit
I'll be at these events, let me know if you're coming! :)
