religion and politics
two things that can ruin any relationship. be it a romantic one or a friendship. i try to steer clear of the topic as much as i can, but if someone slanders/bashes someone when i feel like they have no basis or foundation to stand on, then the gloves come off. sometimes i get people who tell me openly that they disapprove of the president. that's fine in your own opinion and all, but when people are calling him the equivalent of hitler and spouting nonsensical "evidence" and telling me i am wrong in my political beliefs, the gloves come off. it's not right to bash someone for any reason. i don't bother you with my views and neither should you. we both have our views and that should stay that way. the same goes for religion. i don't like it when people go telling me that if i don't go to church or to think a certain way that i will be damned to eternal pain and suffering for not saying a few things or following in the footsteps of the holy cause that they are preaching. in short, please don't. just don't. there's no sense of trying to make everything the same. that's what makes us each unique. we all have out ideas of how things are. if you come across those who are different, you must let them leave it be. terrible things have come from the thing that you love most. politics and religion. funny little things they are song of the day: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbWZ8In9Ois LINKED MEDIA
