I have listened to AP in the past but I think the song count got deleted somehow awhile back. I only have about 10 plays of them but their old stuff is classic. Ambient Galaxy is my favorite of theirs.

The problem with dubstep is that you need a good sub in order to experience the full scope of it. Unfortunately I don't have any sub on this system because the speakers are built into the back of the monitor. Though I get some solace in listening to it on my headphones. But still, even my old, junky computer had more volume than this thing.

Since a lot of people don't have the sub they end up thinking dubstep is shitty rave music or or boring "chill" music. Which irritates me to no end but I have to accept that their taste in music is different from mine and that I need to waste energy on a lost cause.

But having said this, perhaps these songs can give you a clue into the kind of dubstep I like since there is plenty of different vibes in the genre...

Burial - Prayer
Clubroot - Running On Empty
D1 - Sorrow
Jack Sparrow - Can't Dance
Eleven Tigers - Memory Place (feat. Alice-Marie Archer)
Phaeleh - Breathe In Air (feat. Soundmouse) (this has been getting a bit of play lately)
TMSV - Myth
Ben Verse - No Solution
Kromestar - Frequency (feat. Son Of Selah
Digital Mystikz - Mountain Dread March (one of my all time favorites)
Skream - Midnight Request Line (Digital Mystikz Remix) (the VIP is great as well)
Coleco - Morbid Curiosity
Sleeper - Untitled
Loefah - Root
Kryptic Minds - Can't Sleep (feat. Alys Be)
Eraldo Bernocchi / Blackfilm - 1996 Chronicles
Ekaros - Bass Train
Goth-Trad - Sublimation
Hecq - Sura (Matta Remix)
Dark Tantrums - Worm Hole
Droid Sector - Murk
Vex'd - Nails

I gotta stop or I'll never adding to the list. I don't know why I love lists so much.

This mix is also one that's good.

Don't feel personally affronted by that. I think the whole groups idea in general hasn't really caught on all that much with only sparse exceptions. I know you're contributing a lot but I haven't been looking at the threads lately. Been busing chipping my brain apart.

Goa/psytrance stuff eh? Shite, I haven't really been listening to that stuff lately. It's been more dubstep/electronic/ambient stuff.

Listening to it right now, it certainly appeals to my desire of obscurity. I suppose I'm somewhat hipster-ish in that respect but I don't lord it over people. Your efforts have not been wasted.
