So pretty much I'm awesome. That's a big thing you should know about me. Video games are a plus. I only listen to good music, so if you listen to crap, I probably won't like you very much. I deliver pizza for Papa John's, and have many an interesting story to tell (such as when I told a customer that my friends call me Captain Tightpants). Embarrassing story of the year
Well, boys and girls, time for a story. I'm never ever going to live this one down.
So, for those of you who don't know (i.e. none of you) I love Firefly. A lot. And some of my friends, who recently started watching the show have decided that I am the epitome of the captain of the ship, named Mal. And in one episode, he is briefly given the nickname of Captain Tightpants. So one day, someone sent me a link on cafepress, to a tshirt that says "I <3 Captain Tightpants." Funny enough, but no, I didn't get it.
Anyway, I was on a pizza delivery the other night, very late at night, so it was dark and I was extremely tired. And I swear, the girl who answered the door was wearing that exact t-shirt. so, without thinking, I instantly say, "You know, some of my friends call me Captain Tightpants."
Yeah.... turns out her shirt said something else entirely, like "I <3 Capital Treatment" or something weird like that.
So from her perspective it looks like this:
Random pizza man hands her her pizza, then says, out of FUCKING NOWHERE, "You know, some of my friends call me Captain Tightpants."
*Customer gives awkward stare, then slowly closes door*
Fun day.
