Finally Beat FFXIII and C2E2
Hey all, I've finally done something that I've been meaning to do for a while... After just over 2 years I have finally beaten Final Fantasy XIII... at least the main Story that is. It only took 105 hours of gameplay... which ironically was only 3 hours less than when I beat Final Fantasy VIII... and yet I've never beaten Final Fantasy VII... I know, crazy, eh I have been playing a few demos as well. 1) First off I tried out The Darkness II demo... Now, I loved the first game, the story was very entertaining while the graphics weren't amazing they fit the game.... The second game demo though, still had horrible shooting. Now, I know you are supposed to 'wield the darkness' etc etc... But sometimes you just want to shoot something... The control of The Darkness powers were very solid. Will I pick up this game? Sure, just not at the price tag they want. 2) I played the Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo... Wow. I was just floored with how tight the controls were, the leveling system is a nice change of pace, and you actually get monsters to help fight and you can level them up... Now that was cool. It felt like the old school Final Fantasy games from Gameboy. The enemies appear at random and you have a change to get a preemptive attack by attacking them first. There are little quests along the levels and time lines you can get to. Now, they did have quick time events, that will take some getting used to, especially with the Monsters Super attacks and there are some boss battles that require it as well. I'll be picking it up for sure. just, not at the store price... 3) UFC Undisputed 3 demo Controls are way better, career mode without the stat degrade is going to make this their best game yet! Pride mode and the level of detail has been amazing as well. I've pre-ordered this for sure. My Dieting / Working out Finally I started not only the 17 day diet again, but also started the UFC Trainer 30-day weight loss program. I will be starting the P90X (yes I know there's a P90X2 and I will get that once I actually finish their first one.) Still doing Martial arts as well, we're getting in our sparring sessions learning about defending and controlling a person in realistic scenarios. Cardio X-Treme there... TGT Media going to Chicago C2E2 As for Convention season for TGT Media - Entertainment Industry Interviews, where we interview the creative people from the Comic, Film, Music and Game Publishing Industries, we will be Press again at Chicago's C2E2. This will be our third time to this event and if you didn't know at last year's Fan Expo, we broke our 200th interview! We are now up to 226 and with C2E2 this year I'm sure we will get to our 250th!
