I know it's not right, but...
It always seems to me like the Forerunner structures were not meant to buildings... like I'm running around inside a machine that just happens to seem like it has hallways and rooms and doors in it, like an ant inside a computer tower... like the Forerunners were giants or something. I know it's not true, because there are consoles and stuff that make it clear someone was meant to walk in there and press buttons, and the new terminal videos have Forerunners in them. But I liked the idea of it.
