Got a Job..

..at Volt Management Consulting, one of the biggest game testing companies in the world. I start next Monday, though I was suppose to start this Monday...the project got delayed one week and its a big game. I'm fairly excited to start.

But unfortunately I had to basically sign my soul away to work there, so I can't talk about shit. They could probably kill my face just for saying they're even working on games. lol.

Its a lot like Fight Club. 1st Rule of VMC: Don't talk about VMC. Ever.

Should be fun, get payed to play a game( the pay is shit though). Its like my not working life, but now it has purpose. lol.

Really? I didn't hear about it but I can guess how it went down. And you know I'd forgotten that your team didn't make the playoffs last year either. So it's definitely been a good year for them despite the loss.

You know, I do have to say that I have never seen a crowd as great in a loss, in the playoffs, as the one from Montreal tonight. It felt like the Flyers had won in Philly or something as loud as they were cheering for the efforts of their team over the season. Most fans, especially fans of a #1 seed, at that point would be disappointed and maybe even booed their team. Great crowd indeed.

You said you were looking for new stuff to listen to. Try out Maps & Atlases. Pretty good math-rock. Its really technical, but also has a poppy kind of feel to it. Also, if you can find it, A Palace In Persia is an AMAZING band from my town. I'm trying to help get the word out about them. The 4 tracks on myspace are the only ones they currently have released, but the ones posted there are cut down drastically from the real tracks, so its more samples of what they play than their actual stuff. Hope you like some of it.
