what I did at the Furry Fiesta con
So this is going to be a wall of words and random funny things that has happened to me at my first convention ever. First off the drive over to Dallas was nice and having 2 other furs in the car while jamming out to move your dead bones was just good times. well I was the one driving due to the fact that the person who owned the car may of had like 3 hours of sleep because of his job.
So here we are jamming out to tunes and I'm driving in the car from San Antonio to Dallas and as we are going through Austin I notice this sign well 2 of them that made me lol. One of them had a picture of like that syrup chick saying something like not looking like a fool and pull your pants up with this picture of a guy with his pants down to like his knees. The other one I saw was a simple I <3 traffic, in which if you have not drove through Austin before there is a ton of traffic there. and that was just the signs that i thought where funny on the way over.
so when we do make it there I bring out my laptop and start playing with it and i think i got on second life and said hi to a few people then i was off to do other things. well when i got back my laptop would not boot into windows at all. so yah my laptop kinda died at the con in a day..... that makes me a sad, sad leopard. but i still had fun at the con.
so the best part of the con that i was doing was the random meeting of furs and sometimes that lead to a random ihop dinner breakfast at 2 am. most the time i was hanging out with mizrik who i am now dating now so happy days for us. anyways the first day goes off with out a hitch and good times where had all around.
the second day after a long night of screwing around and a hot tub trip and 6 hours of sleep day 2 is here. I get up and run to the registration and some how that only takes me a hour to get through and no i was not preregistered too. so after that was done i did some random classes looked at all the art and things in the dealers room and just went with the flow of furs floating in the halls and played are you a ware wolf. after some time of screwing around and meeting new friends i entered the furaticon game turnny and some how won it with a card called titties woot. then that was kinda the end of that day as well.
day 3 nothing like getting 4 hours of sleep to be back up to go party. anyways i was up and running around to many things going on at the time. when to a voice acting class and after that was done i walked down to the mcdonalds for some food, and must have been told hey nice tail by like 4 random people passing me on the road with their cars. toward the end of the night me and mizrik found our selves going to a party that had a bartender and some killer drink. i some how ended up with this drink i call the 32oz shot, which it kinda was, and got happy drunk. after this party kinda died down me and miz made our way back to the game room where they where playing are you a ware wolf and yah we totally played it drunk and had the best time doing that. hell i even fell out of the chair and laughed so hard because i did not feel a thing. that was some good times, and some how met some new friends and we all ate at ihop then followed that up with a dip in the hot tub at 6 in the morning.
last day of the con rolls in and i am up at the crack of noon and as happy as can be. some how in the mix of all the things i do i get up and just start to draw a picture. that is when my furry art drawing gets really good. you can say i clicked and i was able to draw some awesome art that i was never been able to do before. so as soon as i can get a scanner i will have to upload some of the things i did there. i even did some badge work in pencil that looks amazing. well before i knew it the con was over, i met a lot of new furs added them to my contacts and i look forward to more cons in the future as well.
this was just some of the highlights of my trip i did enjoy the hell out of it and will be going next year for sure. i also hope to see my friends there and make more as well. till then i am going to say bye and pounce my miz. see you latter and hope to get my arts up soon and maybe be able to work on commissions as well. peace this cat is out xp
