Wow! The Inevitable Return..
So, everyone knows I haven't been here in forever, haven't updated in forever. Well, I'm going to make that change! Here I am. A new haircut and a natural hair color, and I'm going to be making up some Fiberglass Spartan armor pretty soon here, since my resin armor proved to be very weak.. I need something stronger!
My quest to become Tex and flounce around at Comic Con next year is a top priority of mine! A few sit ups, a bit of leg armor, a black sports bra and a Henna tattoo of a star on my back and I'm ready to go! So what if Tex is six foot of incredibly hot babe? I'm five foot five, I can pull it off, right? I'll just have to have some handsome Spartans around to give me a leg up if I feel too short.
So, onwards and upwards -- more somber news. I've been missing in action partly because I've been busy and partly because we had a family tragedy in mid January. My mother was murdered by a gunman who came into her work and shot her and three of her co-workers, then killed a Sheriff's Captain. He's in jail now awaiting trial, but we're still dealing with everything else left after such a thing occurs. So, pardon me if I come and go now and then, stuff's going on over here!
But, I will have new pictures soon as I scour the internet for information on how to do fiberglass (my dad can help, I'm sure, he used to build race cars out of the stuff) molds, and when I get on my way to making the armor! I'm excited! Would love any hints, tips, or comments! Every little bit helps. Wish me luck!
