Yesterday, other than being Cinco de Mayo and Revenge of the Fifth, was Free Comic Book Day. So I did what I do every weekday, and got up at the ass crack of dawn and, instead of going to school, I went to my local comic book store,
Alter Ego, to wait in line for a few hours until they opened up at ten. I arrived at 7ish, to find out that I am second in line. Awesome, right? Not nearly as awesome as what happened an hour or so later when the line fattened out to a good seven people. (Mind you, by ten o'clock people could not pull into the parki...

(Mind you, by ten o'clock people could not pull into the parking area at the end of the building and the line was hella long.) One of them, an eighteen year old kid, asked me if I had ever heard of Rooster Teeth. I of course mentioned that I was a sponsor. He shook my hand.
tl;dr a freeloader in the line for free comic day shook my hand for being a sponsor.
